Caroline’s career spans the London and the New York. Having held senior or board positions with the two main commercial broadcast channels in the UK, ITV and Channel 4 for 15 years, she relocated to New York in 2001 to become CEO of one of the most prestigious UK owned b2b live events companies in the USA.
Caroline founded Energetic Communications Inc. in 2006, a business that helps international companies launch and become successful in the US market. Energetic is able to perform almost any role required to give a company tangible and credible representation on the ground, including that of interim CEO, Business Development, Sales and Marketing Director, helping with offices and infrastructure set up as well.
She has also has worked extensively within the media, tech, research, corporate social responsibility and philanthropy sectors and also helping them to create and launch show-stopping global events. She recently completed such a role with the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
Caroline has lived in New York for the past 13 years.
Clive Jones is also Chairman of Disasters Emergencies Committee, Procam, Netplay and Skillset and many businesses and not for profits. He was the Chief Executive of ITV News and Regions and the longest serving senior executive in ITV, London.
As a consultant he chaired the Peer Review of the UK Film Council for the DCMS. He founded and chaired for its first two years the ground-breaking Cultural Diversity Network. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Television Society in 1995 and it’s Gold Medal, the Society’s highest award, in 2007. In the same year he was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for services to broadcasting.
David Pattison is an investor and consultant to Energetic. As former co-founder and chief executive of PHD Worldwide and The Independent Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) President, he was also crowned Media Achiever of the Year at the UK’s Campaign Media Awards for his career-long contribution to the industry, both through his work at PHD and his role as President of the IPA.
In 1990, he and Jonathan Durden left their respective advertising agencies to join forces with Nick Horswell. It was then that Pattison Horswell Durden (PHD) was born.
In 2001, the new owners, Omnicom appointed Pattison as the chief executive of the PHD network, with a remit to build a network of PHD offices. He spent two years in New York setting up the US business, now turning over in excess of $10 billion.
He currently advises them and other businesses on growth and acquisition.
Joanne Davis founded Joanne Davis Consulting, Inc. and is also a shareholding partner and owner of SCAN International. The consulting firm specializes in agency search and compensation management and client agency optimization. Clients include and have included Citigroup, Fidelity, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Intercontinental Hotels, Subway, Ford and IBM.
She is the author of several bestselling books for the ANA and 4A’s: “Agency Audits:
How to Achieve Success,” Optimizing Client/Agency Relations” and “A Marketer’s Guide to Best Practices and Processes for Finding a New Agency.”
During her agency career, Joanne helped build brands and businesses for clients including Chase, Mobil, IBM, Xerox, Atari, Ray-Ban, Andrew Jergens Company and Toyota. She led two EFFIE Award winning teams for marketing effectiveness as judged by the AMA.
She was selected by Advertising Age as one of the “25 Women to Watch” in the first year of the awards program and profiled by USA Today for her new business expertise.

Dennis is our new business development guru with over 30 years in sales, project management, market research and lead generation globally and within the USA. He has worked in industries that include technology, publishing, healthcare, education, conferences and events. Caroline and Dennis have worked together for many years.
Michael Crombie is a member of the American and New York State Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Masters Degree in Taxation from Pace University in New York City.
